Wall of Love
A glimpse into the love, trust, and growth we’ve shared with our HoC families.
My only child went through a difficult time, he was battling severe anxiety and as a parent, I felt completely helpless. Watching him withdraw, lose his spark, and silently struggle was one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced. I kept praying for a sign… and then "House of Children" came into our lives.
From the moment we stepped in, it felt like I had finally found the light at the end of a very long tunnel.
In just a few months, I’ve witnessed a transformation in my son that words can’t fully capture. His spark is back. His laughter is back. His spirit ,the very essence of who he is has come alive again. Every single day, he surprises me with a new side of himself. He walks around with confidence now, often saying, “Mama, I’m the smartest boy!” And I smile with tears in my eyes, because that belief had been missing for far too long.
All of this… all of this is because of Arooj and her incredible team. A special mention for Sir Nazeer, whose gentle strength and compassion have helped reshape my son’s trust and belief in men ,something I never imagined could happen this soon.
They saw my son. They truly understood him. They didn’t give up on him. They worked with such patience, kindness, and love to help him break out of the shell he was stuck in. And slowly, day by day, they brought him back to himself.
To Arooj, your dedication, your belief in each child, your tireless hard work, it doesn’t go unnoticed. You’ve given my son something truly priceless: belief in himself. And as a mother, I will forever be grateful.

Hello Arooj, I took Abdullah to Japanese Park yesterday and honestly, I saw such a big difference in his strength. He’s usually quite a cautious child and takes his time warming up to new things, but yesterday he was running around with so much confidence and even did a bit of climbing!
The coaches have truly been incredible. They’re not only professional but also so patient and kind, they take time to explain every exercise and never push him to do something he doesn’t feel confident in doing. They always listen to him, he loves jumping, so they make sure to incorporate that into every class, which makes him happy and more willing to try new things.
Both Abdullah and I feel super comfortable with them. I always check in with him every week to see if he wants to go, and he’s always genuinely excited.
Highly, highly recommended. I am so glad you’re doing this.

I am so glad I signed up Yahya for gymnastics classes at HOC. Every weekend he gets excited for his class and has a blast with the coaches. I’ve seen a change in his confidence outside the classes which motivates me to bring him in every week!
I’m so glad arooj took this initiative because:
1) There aren’t any other professional gymnastics classes in the city for 4 year olds.
2) the coaches are fantastic not just at their job, but also handling kids according to who they are.
3) the whole team is reliable.
4) if you want your child to succeed in any sport later on, gymnastics is a great foundation!
If any parent is reading this, know that this place is gold in Islamabad if you want your child to be physically active in safe hands!

House of Children has been a game changer for my 3-year-old, especially thanks to Arooj Kiyani’s incredible support with speech therapy.
Arooj’s calm, nurturing style made my child feel safe and engaged, and we began seeing real improvement in a short amount of time. Her expertise, paired with genuine care, sets House of Children apart.
Highly recommended to any parent looking for early childhood support.

My son, Ismail, recently joined the "House of Children." The school provides a wholesome and safe space with a relaxed, home-like atmosphere.
The kind and gentle teachers helped Ismail adapt quickly. Arooj's presence, accessibility, and openness to discussion, along with video updates of the children, make the experience unique and engaging for parents.
I highly recommend Arooj and her dedicated team for their commitment to our children's wellbeing.

I believe your institute does a great job assuring us parents that our children will be given one-on-one attention they deserve, and will be cared for like a family.
I love how you guys go an extra length to make sure that studies are fun for the kids;
I'm sure every child at your institute enjoys the interactive sessions and learns much more than they would have in any traditional setup.
It must have been a taxing journey for you to start an inclusive school in Islamabad but the smiles you guys bring on the childrens' faces must have been quite a reward for the parents, teachers, admin, and ofcourse the children themselves too.
Children are our biggest asset and we parents want them to feel loved, safe, protected, and cared for at school too not just at home. I believe your institute does a great job assuring us parents that our children will be given one-on-one attention they deserve, and will be cared for like a family.

I wish you and your team success. Thank you for taking this much needed initiative.

What was amazing about the first classes was a contact between the specialist and the child. The trust was built and our girl began to be interested in the materials in the
class.
We enrolled with our 3 y.o. special child a month ago. She doesn't speak and doesn't repeat after adults and other children, has no response to interaction with others except for her mom, no interest in toys and daily stuff. What was amazing about the first classes was a contact between the specialist and the child. The trust was built and our girl began to be interested in the materials in the class.
She becomes more active in exploring the environment and today she for the first time noticed her elder sister and tried to play with her.
We have fewer concerns for Ivan, but the main one was his lack of motivation for reading and writing.
We had a consultation and attended several classes at HoC. And now we see progress with him, he started to write words everywhere and is not so much against reading.
I believe, most of the issues at an early age can be corrected. The question is in time and effort you are ready to spend on it. So, don't hesitate and wait, if you have any concerns about your child, normal or with special needs, ask for a consultation

I love how Ms.Arooj explains me the material and answers my question. We did 2 projects: one about "Green energy generator" and the second one was about " Portable water filter ".
Both of those projects i presented in my school and i won 1st and 3rd places! I'm very thankful for the effort my teacher made for me!

My Son joined The House of Children in January 2024 and i can say that with complete certainty that it is a very safe and reliable place for my son. It's more of a second home to him.He looks forwards to go there everyday.I have seen tremendous progress in my child's speech, behaviour and academics.
He loves all of his teachers dearly and receives same amount of love and affection back. Now as a teenager boy its quite difficult to manage him, understand his needs or what he is going through but with the help and guidance from Arooj things are manageable.
She is always always there to help me and find solutions for wherever i need support. I am incredibly grateful for her presence in Ali Shahbaaz's life she treats him and love him like her own son. We are very lucky to be part of House of Children family and 1000% recommend to any other parent who want their child to be part of this lovely school

Review from Sarah
Our paths crossed during a time of profound family loss. When my highly emotional child needed stability the most. Arooj was the person who held space for him (and me) and upheld a sense of grounding. One often hears the phrase “Be the change you want to see in the world” Arooj doesn’t just believe in it...she quite literally lives it!
She has a rare gift: the courage and intuition to meet a child exactly where they are, to transform their irregularities into passions, to unlock their stories, and to help make sense of their emotions. Through her guidance, my son grew not only in personhood but in soul. He found a safe space to be himself, to explore his passions, and more importantly, he felt deeply accepted.
Thank you, Arooj, for the difference you made in our lives!

My daughter started seeing Arooj to help with her focus and organizational skills, and honestly, the progress has been incredible.
She never wanted to come home from her session she would paint her heart out, open up in ways she never did with me, and share things I never thought she would talk about.
What I love most is how it’s changed our bond. I can’t really speak for how my daughter feels, that’s her own story to tell but I do know that we’ve grown closer and understand each other better now.
Arooj has a very special way with kids, and I find myself recommending her to every mom I know who’s trying to figure out what’s going on in their child’s mind and what their kids truly need from us. She’s been a blessing for us.
